For me, Borkfest felt like being welcomed into a genuine community where everyone was there for the joy of creating with their hands. Raleigh and Oliver Klotzek brought together a group that shared skills without any sense of prestige - just curiosity and care. What stayed with me most was how generous people were, not only with their craft knowledge, but also their other passions, like playing music.

Borkfest för mig är rekreation och djupdykning i en familjär miljö. Du får lära dig unika hantverk av skickliga lärare. Du får lära känna nya människor och du får tid att bara vara, sitta i bastun eller dricka kaffe i solen. Det har blivit en tradition för mig.

Borkfest for me is recreation and immersion in a family environment. You get to learn unique crafts from skilled teachers. You get to meet new people and you get time to just be, sit in the sauna or drink coffee in the sun. It has become a tradition for me.
