Registration will open around 11:00 but you are welcome to arrive before though the staff will be continuing site setup.

CHILDREN & YOUTH
Can children attend?
Yes!!!
Everyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Workshops for children & youth?
Children are very welcome. If you are brining youth please get in touch with us. We can work on arranging some courses for them to participate in.
Attendance of other workshops by youth will be up to the discretion of the instructor. You can check in every workshop what the age limit is. Any child under 12 will need their guardian in or at the workshop with them unless otherwise designated. If you have any questions please contact us.
It is a welcoming environment for children and parents. We have had a couple children attend all past years of Borkfest and they were quickly wrapped into the community and always had their hands busy.
Will there be any expenses onsite/at the festival?
The following things will require cash (or swish/card) for onsite purchases:
Last minute workshop sign ups - any workshops that still have spaces can be booked onsite.
Drinks and alcohol (not including coffee and tea which is already included in your food ticket)
Workshop material fees paid to the instructors- Please read each workshop description carefully to see what money you need to bring for the workshops you sign up for
Buying tools or products from our Community Market (bring cash or handmade pieces or materials made by you to trade as well)
We do our best to reduce the need for any transactions made onsite.
WORKSHOPS
What if I don’t speak the language?
Our instructors come from more several countries this year so most will be teaching in English, and festival communications are in English.
We know it is intimidating if you don’t speak/understand much english or other languages the instructor speaks, but we would like to take some of the fear out it for you if you are concerned about not understanding them.
Even with just a few words or no words at all, it quickly becomes clear what to do with manual work. So you will be able to communicate with your hands and feet perfectly.
For help on the website we suggest downloading the Google Translate extension on Chrome and you can translate every page right on our website.
Do I have to take Workshops?
No! We offer the workshops for those that want to learn something new or deepen their experience within a craft. The festival is about connecting to self, community, and our surroundings through craft. We encourage folks to bring projects they are working on. Hang out and craft! Attending workshops is like a bonus!
TOOLS
Do I need to bring my own tools?
Some classes do require you to bring your own tools; most of them being workshops that are intended for those with some experience. (All classes state if there are prerequisites in the workshop description. Please read each carefully)
Most beginners workshops do not require you to bring your own tools. Please read the workshop description carefully to see what you need to bring. If you are unsure which tools to bring please get in touch. Some will also be available for purchase onsite.
Will there be tools & items for sale?
Tools
Most workshops provide all the tools and materials needed.
If you would like to purchase tools we are arranging a small tool shop to be available on site.
Products for sale
We will all be a part of a community market on Saturday evening. You are welcome to bring your own handmade wares to sell. Used tools, or other craft is welcome.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In Case of Cancellation
In the case of a cancellation on your part we can refund the amount paid for tickets and workshops minus a 5% processing fee (we can’t avoid this!) up to a maximum of 14 days before the festival starts.
Unfortunately, there is a certain risk to organize such a festival. We are confident that everything can take place as planned. However, we cannot exclude that we might have to cancel a workshop, or in the worst case scenario the festival, at short notice. Should this be the case, we will of course refund the amount for your already booked tickets and courses.
We appreciate your cooperation.
