Sandra Stigert (she/her)
Sandra Stigert is a craft educator, maker and artist with a deep love for natural materials and sustainable traditions. She has created educational guides for both children and adults, and since 2023 has focused on reviving the nearly lost Nordic tradition of carving fan birds.
Through her project Lätta Vingar, Sandra has documented the craft, studied under master carvers in Sweden and Finland, and begun teaching it to others. With warmth, humility and a deep sense of purpose, she now invites more hands and hearts to help these birds take flight once again.
